How This Role Makes a Difference The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming/outgoing stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing warehouse materials, and retrieving stock and other equipment from offsite locations. The Warehouse Specialist will ensure accuracy of all stock entering our Warehouse Management System (WMS). This position will also perform some technical aspects such as trouble shooting systems and possibly diagnosing issues with equipment. This position will also assist in other duties as assigned by the warehouse Manager. How You'll Make An Impact • Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to verify contents and condition., • Using mobile devices to accurately store and organize inventory in designated locations., • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate inventory records, including restock levels and system updates., • Performing regular cycle counts and making inventory adjustments as needed., • Tagging and labeling merchandise in accordance with company standards and project requirements., • Organizing and stocking inventory with precision, based on size, type, and categorization., • Accurately fulfilling orders in a timely manner to meet internal and external deadlines., • Following standardized procedures to safely box, pack, and prepare merchandise for outbound shipments., • Operating and performing routine checks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks., • Entering accurate data into warehouse management and logistics systems, ensuring compliance with internal processes., • Generating inventory and shipment reports and supporting warehouse audits as required., • Administrative tasks, such as preparing paperwork or entering data., • Train new team members on warehouse procedures, • Overseeing the loading and unloading of trucks, • Occasional movement of fleet vehicles within 30 miles of warehouseThe Expertise Required, • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment., • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and inventory control., • Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy objects as required by the role., • Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment and working with inventory management software or WMS (Warehouse management system)., • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams., • Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as a proactive team member.Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience, • High School Diploma, • 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Worker, • Valid Drivers LicenseHow We Work Together, • Location: This is an on-site position with regional commute requirements, located in Austin, TX, • Travel: Not required, • Physical demands associated with this position Include:, • The role requires the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, and climb ladders as needed to perform essential job duties.
