Job Description The AER Commercial Estimator supports DNE’s estimating efforts for applied product lines by preparing accurate, timely cost estimates and proposals for a variety of HVAC projects. This role manages projects from bid receipt through submission, analyzing mechanical plans to evaluate system capacity, design feasibility, and code compliance, while suggesting design adjustments as needed. The Commercial Estimator collaborates with internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure proposals are complete, competitive, and aligned with project requirements – all supporting commercial HVAC system quoting. Additionally, this position serves as a key resource to customers, sales teams, and branch personnel by delivering reliable project information and responsive help desk support.
