We are searching for teaching assistants to help our pre-school-high school students achieve success in Math and Reading with a commitment to making a difference in the community and belief that all children have the potential to achieve academic excellence.
English must be a primary language as you may be teaching students alphabetic knowledge, letters, sounds, consonant combinations, and vowel patterns.
All training will be provided.
Job responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
*helping guide children through the classroom routine and daily assignments
*grading students' Math and Reading worksheets using answer books and guiding students through problems using the Kumon Method.
*assisting Lead Instructor with classroom management
*assisting in clerical work, preparing for class, data entry, and general cleanup as needed.
*prompt and reliable participation in training sessions.
*Must be punctual, responsible, and have a positive, respectful attitude towards students, parents, and other staff.
Must be available on the following days/hours:
Tuesday 3:30 pm-7:30 pm
Wednesday 3:30 pm-7:30 pm
Thursday 3:30 pm-7:30 pm
Saturday 9:30 am-1 pm
