Nursery Assistant - Brock Farms Home & Garden World - Freehold

Brock Farm’s Wholesale department is looking for a qualified Nursery Associate to join our team. Brock Farm’s Wholesale division is a diverse, fast-paced and engaging environment with constant interaction with customers.

The candidate:

• Must be a quick learner with a high school degree or GED equivalent.
• Must be friendly and a “people person”, comfortable working with all types of people.
• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS HORTICULTURAL EXPERIENCE!
• Will assist customers selecting plant material and filling orders.
• Must be physically capable and able to lift 50lbs. or more.
• MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING IN ALL TYPES OF WEATHER CONDITIONS!
• Must be familiar with POS operating systems and Microsoft Office, along with basic computer functions. Familiarity with Quickbooks a plus.
• Will assist in daily office duties such as receiving payments and invoicing daily sales.
• Bi-lingual a plus!
• Compensation will commensurate with experience.

Job Type:

• Full time
• Monday-Friday with some Saturday’s required
