  Pay: $32,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year Job description: The William Woodward Jr. Nursery School seeks a Part Time Preschool Lead Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year with a September 2026 start date: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am-12:30 pm The PreK classroom at Woodward is comprised of children between the ages of 3.9-5.0 who are preparing for entrance into Kindergarten the following fall. The School's mission is to provide a solid foundation for a lifetime love of learning by creating a collaborative learning community. We strive to create and maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all children, families, and staff. As a Lead PreK Teacher, you will have the opportunity to guide our oldest children and their families through their final year at Woodward. The Lead Teacher is responsible for the following: • Creating and implementing a rich and developmentally appropriate curriculum that will prepare our learners for Kindergarten and beyond., • Creating a positive and safe learning environment that fosters social/emotional growth and development., • Completing ongoing school reports when requested by the families and ongoing schools., • Collaboration with all other teaching staff, SEITs, and other outside service professionals and willingness to contribute to a small community of teachers and staff by assisting in some administrative duties and daily check-in meetings with other head teachers., • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including sending a weekly email to classroom parents with lesson plans as well as a monthly newsletter to the school community and some virtual slide presentations., • Able to create successful partnerships with parents to meet the needs of the children., • Warm and nurturing demeanor and a genuine respect and appreciation for small children., • Comfortable and experienced in caring for children turning 4-5 years old, including supporting separation and addressing other developmental needs with patience and empathy., • Conducting twice yearly parent-teacher conferences as well as maintaining regular communication with parents both in person (when possible) and via email., • Completing school reports twice a year., • Must possess the ability and willingness to differentiate instruction whenever needed., • Must possess the ability to use and maintain good classroom management., • Professional dedication and dependability., • Willingness to participate in Open House Events, Curriculum Night, Back to School activities, and staff meetings when necessary in addition to contracted work hours., • Knowledge of Reggio Emilia practice and Handwriting without Tears is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess the following or be willing to complete all of the following on or before 08/1/26: • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or working toward one., • NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education, • A minimum of five years of experience, preferably as a Lead Teacher, • DOH Background Check, including Fingerprinting.   Job Description The Supervised Visitation Program Part Time Monitor Hours are Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm Summary: The Family Court Program offers case management and practical assistance to victims of crime. The overall goal of the program is to reduce the impact of victimization through advocacy, counseling and other support services. The Case Manager provides case management services to victims of domestic violence involved in the family court system and victims of crimes committed by juvenile delinquents. Essential Job Functions: · Learn and integrate a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, using an anti-oppressive lens, into your work with clients. · Providing client-centered crisis intervention, emotional support and case management to victims of crime and abuse; · Providing information regarding the Family Court process, court procedures and the types of relief available, including Orders of Protection; · Advocating with Family Court personnel (Judges, Court Clerks, Court Officers, civil legal attorneys, etc.) and the criminal justice system on behalf of clients; · Safety planning and risk assessment; · Referring victims to shelters and other services as needed; · Assisting clients with relocation and housing; · Providing emergency practical assistance including OVS compensation applications, transportation, food vouchers, financial assistance, emergency cell phones, lock replacement, etc.; · Attending internal and external meetings, trainings and workshops; · Maintaining thorough and accurate case records and statistics; · Various other duties to be determined by supervisor. Program Summary: The Family Development Coach provides direct case management and participant support services to fathers enrolled in the Fatherhood Initiative. The role focuses on individualized service planning, goal attainment, and strengthening family engagement through a strengths-based and participant-centered approach. Responsibilities: Conduct participant intake, assessment, and enrollment activities. Develop and monitor Individual Service Plans for each participant. Meet with participants individually on a monthly basis to support goal attainment. Provide referrals and coordinate service linkages to community resources.
