Job description Looking for an Experienced Paraprofessional and Teachers Assistants and Behavior Techs to work with kids that are diagnosed with Autism in their homes . Weekdays afterschool hours (M-F between 4.00pm-7.30pm and/or Saturday (flexible hours). RBTs are welcome to apply Looking for Paraprofessionals and Teachers Assistants to work with special needs students in their home. Will train them to be Behavior Techs. We are dedicated to providing each child and their family with the structure, care, and patience required for learning. Using the evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, we work directly with children and their families in the areas of language and communication (Verbal Behavior), social and independent functioning skills, and behavior reduction. THIS IS A FULL TIME TEMP JOB. This is a full time temp job. The In-Home Local Technician works in conjunction with the Remote Doctor as part of the patient care team to perform activities involving (but not limited to) patient care, pre-testing, being a chairside advocate during the remote exam, and maintaining the doctor’s appointment schedule in a manner that delivers a professional and pleasurable patient experience. With Telehealth, this role is responsible for conducting pre-testing and specialized testing for tele-optometric exams utilizing Telehealth-related equipment and instruments. Duties & Responsibilities: The IN-Home Local Technician will travel to the patient’s home for the eye screenings, diabetic retinal exams and possibly other medical additional screenings. The IN-Home Local Technician is a patient advocate. The Telehealth Specialist will guide the patient through the entire Telehealth exam experience, from pre-test, to being chairside during the remote exam. The IN-Home Local Technician will complete patient registration by gathering patient information, including Medical History and Ocular Health data. The IN-Home Local Technician will conduct pretesting and explain to the patient each step of the process, which instruments conduct which tests, and why they are important. Other Duties: Instruct patients on medical care as prescribed by the doctor’s treatment plan and schedule follow-up appointments as needed. Participate in-practice meetings/projects as requested. Perform various end-of-day responsibilities. Make recommendations for efficiencies, processes, etc. which will deliver quality, cost savings, and / or profitability improvements within the store and / across the organization. Perform other duties within the practice as requested and as time allows. Qualifications: MUST HAVE A CAR High School or GED qualifications Minimum 1-year experience in the medical field. Familiarity with medical terms associated with eye treatment. Effective & professional verbal communication skills to discuss prescriptions and treatment plans. Models’ professionalism and a high level of personal and professional integrity through words and actions; able to put personal feelings aside when conducting business or working on tasks. Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to communicate and exchange information, utilize equipment necessary to perform the job, and move about the office. Effective verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with co-workers and outside vendors and prepare concise and accurate documentation. Prior experience maintaining patients’ records/files per HIPAA regulations. Entry-level PC skills. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment, functioning for the good of the team over the individual.
PTCB pharmacy tech certification is preferred, we can train a reliable, dedicated, trainable candidate. Position is part-time , but can lead to a fulltime position. Job roles includes pick up at cashier, filling orders, typing and billing new scripts and inventory management and immunizing if tech certified
