We are seeking a friendly and efficient Phone Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for managing incoming calls, taking accurate food orders, and providing excellent customer service. You will handle inquiries, assist with order modifications, and ensure a smooth communication flow between customers and our kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Accurately take food orders for takeaway and delivery.
- Provide information on menu items, daily specials, and restaurant services.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and courteously.
- Coordinate with kitchen and delivery staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail for order accuracy.
- Previous experience in a customer service or similar role is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
