Hours are M-F 7:30am to 5:30pm (schedule with breaks). The ideal candidate must love dogs and have professional experience, be prompt and professional. We’re looking for an exceptional dog expert who can provide care and love to our dogs. We have great clients, sweet dogs and we love to have fun! We are looking for someone who really loves to be around dogs and understands their behaviors and needs. We’re looking for commitment of least at 6-months or more. Qualifications Professional experience Must be a true animal/dog lover Strong communication skills with clients Punctuality: It is important to be on time for your walks The job requires lots of walking. You won’t be walking all hours straighgt (there are breaks throughout the shift) but you must be able to be on your feet for most of the day. We are accepting applicants willing and able to make a minimum 6+ months commitment to employment with our company. You will be responsible for facilitating Now You’re Clean’s grooming service offering and performing all services that are booked for you. This includes ensuring all services are completed in a high quality, consistent, and safe manner, and that grooming clients receive exceptional customer service in line with the Now You’re Clean culture and community vibe. Key requirements MUST LOVE DOGS Minimum of 3+ years experience grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages Experience managing a grooming salon is a bonus! Dog Groomer / Stylist - Expectations & Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Minimum of 3+ years experience grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages Experience managing a grooming salon is a bonus! Genuine passion for the well-being of dogs and their grooming experience Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills High degree of independent decision-making and problem-solving capability Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills Maintain a clean and comfortable groom room environment at all times Must be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods of time and perform requirements of the job Ability to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends & holidays Projects Work with marketing team and content creators to capture before and after and in-service shots / reels for marketing purposes (this will always be in consultation for the appropriate time). Pet Groomer We are looking for a friendly pet groomer to perform all grooming-related duties necessary to ensure that pets are neat, clean, and look their best. The pet groomer’s responsibilities include bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping, or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair. You should also be able to ensure that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition. To be successful as a pet groomer, you should be able to comply with pet owners' instructions as well as accommodate any special requests that they may have. Ultimately, a top-notch Pet Groomer will treat all animals with the utmost love and care. Pet Groomer Responsibilities: Dematting and detangling hair as required. Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets. Trimming pets’ nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears. Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles. Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have. Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations. Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process. Routinely cleaning work areas. Recommending suitable products to pet owners. Pet Groomer Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Certification through the National Dog Groomer Association of America is advantageous. Proven professional grooming experience. Sound understanding of animal behavior. The ability to stand for long periods of time. The ability to treat all animals with compassion. The ability to lift heavy pets and equipment. Excellent communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
