Job Summary:
The Rental Sales Agent is responsible for marketing rental properties, managing client inquiries, and ensuring a smooth leasing process. This role involves listing properties on rental platforms, conducting property inspections, and supporting prospective tenants through the rental process. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, organized, and comfortable with both online platforms and in-person interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
List available rental properties on various online platforms (e.g., Zillow, Apartments.com, Facebook Marketplace).
Write engaging descriptions, upload quality photos, and keep listings up to date.
Respond promptly to rental inquiries via phone, email, and online messaging.
Schedule and conduct occasional property visits for inspections or showings.
Assist in pricing strategies by researching market trends and comparable listings.
Verify property condition, cleanliness, and readiness before listing or tenant move-in.
Coordinate with landlords, maintenance teams, and tenants as needed.
Screen prospective tenants based on company guidelines.
Prepare and manage lease agreements and rental documents.
Maintain records of communications, listings, inspections, and transactions.
Support overall leasing and sales goals of the team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Prior experience in property management, leasing, or real estate preferred.
Familiarity with major rental listing platforms.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation and willingness to visit properties occasionally.
Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of digital marketing and office software.
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to handle multiple properties at once.
