Position Overview: The Vice President, Account Management (Strategic Accounts) is responsible for leading Datavant's relationships with a portfolio of highly complex, strategically important provider customers. This role owns retention, revenue growth, executive engagement, and value realization across assigned accounts, ensuring Datavant is positioned as a long-term strategic partner within each customer organization. Key Responsibilities: • Own overall relationship health, retention, and growth for assigned strategic provider accounts, • Lead executive-level engagement and multi-threaded relationships across customer organizations, • Develop and execute account strategies aligned to customers' business objectives, market dynamics, and growth initiatives, • Drive renewals, renegotiations, and expansion opportunities in partnership with GTM and Finance, • Champion adoption of Datavant's digital solutions, global workflows, and modernized operating models, • Proactively identify account risk and lead resolution of high-impact customer issues, • Translate operational performance into clear, value-based narratives for senior customer stakeholders, • Partner closely with Service Delivery to ensure transparency, alignment, and issue resolution, • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Implementation, and Marketing to deliver on customer commitments, • Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and CRM documentation Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred, • 8–12+ years experience in healthcare account management, strategic sales, or services, • Proven success managing large, complex provider or enterprise customer relationships, • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, • Demonstrated commercial acumen, including renewals, pricing, and margin considerations, • Deep understanding of healthcare provider environments and HIPAA-regulated services, • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, • Ability to travel up to 50–75% #LI-BC1 We are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are all responsible for stewarding a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters belong and thrive.
