  Zurich E&S is currently looking for a VP, Senior Underwriting Manager for our E&S Property team. This position will be responsible for developing, coaching, and managing a high-performing regional team of Property underwriting staff. Additional responsibilities include managing regional performance, including new business production, policy count retention, rate/tiering execution, and portfolio management actions relative to plan; managing regional wholesale broker relationships; managing underwriter referrals; and maintaining a small production portfolio to stay attuned with regional market changes and desk-level challenges. The VP, Senior Underwriting Manager will be expected to travel as necessary to support the needs of the team and to cultivate key broker relationships within the specified regions (25%). The position is a critical role in driving a diversified, dynamic and engaging team culture. This position also requires strong technical acumen in underwriting property risks in the E&S segment, experience in overseeing and developing underwriting talent, the ability to manage complex processes, strong wholesale producer engagement and sales skills and a demonstrated ability of profitable portfolio management. This position will be based out of one of the following office locations: Atlanta, Chicago or New York. You will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis.
