Dates & Hours: • Saturday, December 6, 2025 – 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, • Sunday, December 7, 2025 – 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM 355 Bowery, Manhattan NYC We are seeking a professional Security Guard to support a busy holiday pop-up event. This role focuses on door access control, light traffic flow, and general event security to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests, vendors, and staff. • Monitor the main entrance throughout the event., • Greet guests, • Prevent unauthorized entry and maintain appropriate capacity limits., • Help manage lines outside the venue and keep entrances clear., • Ensure vendor and staff access points remain unobstructed., • Communicate calmly and clearly with guests during peak times., • Maintain a visible presence on-site and proactively monitor for safety concerns., • Identify and de-escalate potential conflicts or disruptive behavior., • Enforce venue rules (no smoking inside, no open containers outside where restricted, etc.)., • Report any incidents, injuries, or emergencies to event management., • Coordinate with event leads in the event of medical or security emergencies and follow established protocols., • Participate in a brief pre-event security walk-through and briefing., • Provide end-of-day support to ensure guests have exited and doors are properly secured., • Complete any incident or shift reports requested by event management. Qualifications • Previous experience in event security, venue security, or crowd management preferred., • Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills., • Professional, calm, and courteous demeanor with guests at all times., • Ability to stand for extended periods and work both indoors and outdoors., • Reliable and punctual; able to commit to both days and full shifts (11:00 AM–7:00 PM)., • Valid security license is a plus. BLACK SUIT & TIE ARE NEEDED Responsibilities • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence, • Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property, • Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area, • Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations, • Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts, • Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions, • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation, • Provide assistance to people in need, • Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities, • Proven experience as security officer or guard, • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety, • Familiarity with report writing, • Excellent surveillance and observation skills, • Some Vaccination required, • Security Guard License required, • Dental insurance

Event Security Needed – $30/hr (Manhattan) We’re hiring reliable security personnel for a teen event in Manhattan. Event Details: • Date: December 12, • Time: 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM, • Arrival Time: Please arrive by 8:30 PM, • Pay: $30/hour, paid after the event, • Uniform: Provided if needed, • Responsibilities:, • Maintain crowd control and ensure a safe environment, • Conduct pat-downs and bag checks at entry, • Be alert and prevent any illegal activity or substances (no drugs, alcohol, or items not permitted for guests under 18), • Spend a short time before the event (a day or two prior) to go over the safety plan and your role, • This is a one-time gig, but if you perform well, there will be opportunities for future events with higher pay., • If interested, please reply with your name, experience, and availability for the pre-event briefing.
