The manager will work cross-functionally with Facilities, IT, Corporate Security, Quality, Blood & Laboratory Operations (BLO), Research (LFKRI), Comprehensive Cell Solutions (CCS), and EHS teams to maintain operational excellence in a regulated environment. Facility Operations & Infrastructure Management Manage the daily operations of all physical plant systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural and life safety elements of the facility. • Oversee facility operations in blood manufacturing, research and clinical labs, and office environments, ensuring all systems support their specific functional and regulatory requirements., • Supervise maintenance and custodial staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure work is performed according to NYBC standards and regulatory compliance., • Lead facilities inspections and preventive maintenance programs for all building systems, including clean utilities and backup power., • Supervision of 2 direct reports and 20 total employees. Supervises, trains, mentors and develops assigned staff., • Conducts quarterly employee evaluations and annual reviews of direct reports and secondary staff., • Exemplifies Customer Service Mission and Core Values and provides consistent application of NYBCe policies and procedures to ensure a productive and supportive work environment., • Implements, and management of work order system. Oversees the timely completion of all work order tickets.
