Berkys Day Care is an in-home early learning childcare program located in Deer Park, NY. We currently have a part-time position available and are seeking a CANDIDATE for a TEACHER ASSISTANT position. The schedule is as follows...
1st POSITION
Monday through Friday
Mornings: 12:00pm -4:00pm
2nd POSITION
Monday through Friday
Mornings: 1:45pm -5:15pm
The ideal candidate for these positions are a caring, patient, and responsible individual who possess an interest in working with children ages 2-5 years old. Please only apply if you are available Monday-Friday for the time-slot stated, speak fluent English and have experience working with children.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the classroom to balance out the responsibilities that are required for our morning program.
Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable.
Assist in implementing our Berkys Curriculum for our Preschool students.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Must be a team player that can work well with others in assisting with the growth and development of our students and our program.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/ GED required.
Must drive own a car
Experience working with children ages 2-5 years old.
Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
