TikTok Content Intern
Type: Paid internship, part-time Pay: $18 - $20/hour Location: Remote / Hybrid (NYC preferred) Hours: ~10–15 hrs/week
About the Role
We're looking for a creative, terminally-online intern to help grow our TikTok presence. You'll be behind and in front of the camera, coming up with ideas, filming, editing, and posting content that actually sounds like a real person made it. This is a hands-on role for someone who already spends way too much time on TikTok and has opinions about what makes a video work.
What You'll Do
- Brainstorm and pitch short-form video concepts that fit our brand voice
- Film content — on-camera appearances, POV-style clips, interviews, UGC-style videos, and trend-based content
- Edit raw footage into finished videos (captions, sound, pacing, trending audio)
- Post and schedule content, and monitor performance (views, engagement, comments)
- Stay on top of TikTok trends, sounds, and formats — and know which ones fit our brand and which don't
- Respond to comments/DMs in the brand voice when needed
- Collaborate on content calendars and campaign ideas with the broader social team
What We're Looking For
- Active TikTok user who understands the platform's language, pacing, and humor
- Comfortable on camera and confident pitching original ideas
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Strong sense of tone — able to match a brand voice rather than defaulting to generic or cheesy content
- Deep familiarity with Eastern European culture, humor, and internet references — able to speak to and connect with that community authentically (lived experience, fluency in a relevant language, or strong cultural immersion all count)
- Reliable, organized, and able to turn around content on a consistent schedule
- Bonus: experience with Instagram Reels, photography, or influencer/UGC outreach
- Experience
- Not required
- Employment
- Part-time
- Salary
- $18 – $20 hourly
