Greek social club in Astoria queens is seeking a waiter/waitress from Thursday to Sunday. Host lunch/dinner/private parties. Days and times can vary.

Looking for a sharp waiter / waitress to join our team in Downtown NYC. Looking for a minimum of 2 year experience working in Indian restaurant. Must speak and understand Hindi.

A server, also known as a waiter or waitress, is a restaurant employee who interacts with customers to provide a good dining experience. Their role includes but not limited to: Greeting customers: Welcoming guests and directing them to their seats Taking orders: Recording food and drink orders and delivering them to the kitchen or bar Delivering food and drinks: Ensuring food is prepared correctly and delivered on time and at the correct temperature Checking on customers: Checking in with customers throughout their meal to ensure they are happy and to address any issues Clearing tables: Collecting plates and clearing the table when customers are finished Preparing checks: Preparing customers' checks and collecting payment Cleaning: Maintaining cleanliness in the dining room and helping with other restaurant tasks Memorizing the menu: Learning and memorizing menu details, including key ingredients for food allergies

Duties - Greet guests warmly and present menus in a friendly manner. - Take accurate food and beverage orders using a point-of-sale system or cash register. - Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to maximize sales. - Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. - Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. - Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during food preparation and service. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. - Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service. - Qualifications - Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required. - Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment. - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments. - Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - A passion for culinary arts and an interest in upselling menu items is highly desirable. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Join our team as a Server where you can showcase your culinary knowledge, enhance your sales skills, and provide memorable experiences for our guests!

Support: $14.50 + Tips Support role encompasses setting up the dining room, setting tables, clearing tables, pouring water, running food, working with servers and expediters, resetting the dining room, polishing glassware and various tasks that support service at the restaurant. Sommeliers: $14.50 + Tips Responsible for providing our guests with a memorable wine experience and ensuring the excellence and creativity of the beverage program. Expeditors: $25 The expeditor is a liaison between the kitchen and service teams and works in the kitchen alongside both cooks and service team members. This expeditor facilitates the process of delivering dishes from the kitchen to the guests in a timely manner, following proper steps of service. Porters: $19 Responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and restaurant by washing pots and pans, keeping the kitchen and dining room areas clean. Production Bartender: $40 Production Bartender is a wealth of knowledge of all cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage selections and constantly delivers excellence and hospitality. Production Barback: $30 Responsible for keeping all components of the bar area clean, organized, and stocked.
