Café All-Star / Front-of-House Associate Location: MT Kisco cafe, inside Genesis health Club Saw Mill Club, Mount Kisco, NY Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Pay: $16.50 - $18.00/hour + Tips Our Story: We are a cozy café nestled inside the Saw Mill Club, serving healthy, delicious food and coffee to our community of dedicated members. The Role: We are looking for a dynamic and reliable Café All-Star to be the heart of our small operation. This is a hands-on role where you'll be the cook, the cashier, the friendly greeter, and the keeper of cleanliness—all in one! Culinary Prep & Simple Cooking: · Prepare and cook a limited menu of fast, healthy food items like breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and salads. · Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency. · Prepare and restock all cooking ingredients for the day (chopping vegetables, prepping proteins, etc.). 2. Customer Service & Sales: · Warmly greet every customer, remembering our regulars and their favorite orders. · Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately. · Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and promotions. · Restock all front-facing retail items (chips, bars, bottled beverages, etc.). 3. Cleanliness & Operations: · Maintain a spotlessly clean work environment at all times—this is non-negotiable. · Wash dishes, wipe down counters, sanitize surfaces, and take out trash. · Ensure the dining and service areas are tidy and inviting. · Complete opening and closing checklists efficiently.
