Job Description We are currently seeking a full-time highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician for a busy small animal/exotics practice in Lake Forest, CA. We are a 4-doctor practice and treat an assortment of pets ranging from dogs/cats to reptiles, birds, and pocket pets. Ideal candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the veterinary field and have the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Exotics experience is not necessary but is a plus. Successful candidates will have a strong skill set that includes animal restraint, logging treatments in patient records, assisting the veterinarian in surgery, proficient in sample collection, recognizing commonly used veterinary medications, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work well in a busy hospital environment. Our practice is equipped with digital radiographs, dental digital radiographs, and full in-house labs (Idexx). Compensation to be determined based on experience.
