Job DescriptionIn a world of noise, we find the signal — the pulse of potential. We weave the strands of talent, vision, and purpose into organizations that endure. Blending intelligence with intuition, we honor the human art of connection at the heart of every great company.Veterinarian Long Beach, California (Confidential Client – Independent Veterinary Practice) Overview Signal & Strand is honored to represent a deeply compassionate, independently owned veterinary practice in Long Beach—one that believes medicine is as much about heart as it is about science. This is a team that treats every animal as a beloved family member and every client as a partner in care. Their mission is simple and powerful: to keep the non-human members of our families healthy, happy, and deeply loved—through trust, transparency, and teamwork. They're seeking a Veterinarian who feels that same calling: someone who leads with empathy, practices with integrity, and finds meaning in every wag, purr, and gentle nudge of gratitude. About the Company This practice was founded over a decade ago by a veterinarian who believed that exceptional care starts with listening—and that honesty, education, and compassion should be the foundation of every interaction. They've built a reputation for medical excellence, innovative diagnostics, and authentic connection. Yet what truly sets them apart is their culture: one where people care for each other as deeply as they care for their patients. Here, you'll find a supportive, thoughtful team that balances advanced medicine with warmth and humanity. They believe in continuous learning, in lifting one another up, and in giving both pets and people the dignity of being truly seen and cared for. The Role As a Veterinarian on this team, you'll do more than treat patients—you'll build relationships that matter. You'll practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment that celebrates curiosity and compassion in equal measure. You'll have the space to connect, the tools to excel, and the support to do your best work—without compromising your values or your well-being. Key Responsibilities * Deliver personalized medical and surgical care to companion animals, grounded in empathy and clinical excellence. * Guide clients with honesty, care, and clear communication, helping them make informed decisions for their pets. * Partner with a dedicated team that values teamwork, mentorship, and mutual respect. * Contribute to a culture of kindness, transparency, and continuous growth. * Advocate for the health and happiness of both patients and team members. Qualifications * Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited institution. * Active or eligible California veterinary license. * A deep sense of compassion and curiosity. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A belief that veterinary care is a calling, not just a career. The Offer $100,000 – $120,000 base salary + production bonus But more than that—a workplace where your compassion is valued as much as your capability. You'll find: * A supportive, team-centered culture built on respect, empathy, and joy. * Opportunities for clinical growth, continuing education, and mentorship. * Access to modern tools and progressive medicine that empower excellent care. * A team that knows caring for others starts with caring for each other. Because here, the work you do matters—and so do you.
