Job DescriptionAbout the Role Fur Heroes, the mobile grooming division of Harlem Doggie Day Spa, is growing. We’re hiring experienced groomers for both mobile grooming and in-shop positions. This is not a “build your own clientele” role. We provide a fully managed schedule, consistent bookings, and repeat clients so you can focus on grooming, not chasing appointments. If you take pride in your work, groom efficiently, and want a steady system behind you, this is a strong opportunity. What You’ll Do • Perform full-service grooming (bath, haircut, nails, ears, etc.), • Groom safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, • Execute breed cuts and advanced grooming, especially doodles, • Communicate professionally with clients, • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, • Represent the brand with a friendly, professional attitude Mobile Groomers will also:, • Work independently inside a grooming van, • Follow a daily route and schedule, • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the mobile unit Compensation, • 40–42% commission, • Grooming services start at $120+, • Most groomers earn $5,000 – $6,500/month, • Top performers can exceed $7,000+ with full books, tips, and efficiency, • Bi-weekly pay What We Provide, • Fully booked schedules and optimized routes, • Consistent repeat clientele, • No need to find your own clients, • Tips and performance bonuses, • Paid time off, • Employee discounts, • Free tool sharpening, • Four-day work week option, • Full-time or part-time opportunities, • Growth within an established NYC brand Requirements, • Minimum 3 years of professional grooming experience, • Strong scissoring skills and breed cut knowledge (doodles required), • Ability to groom at least 6 dogs per day, • Reliable, independent, and professional, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment For Mobile Groomers:, • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, • Confidence driving and parking in NYC, • Comfortable working independently in a mobile unit Nice to Have, • Weekend availability, • Spanish-speaking, • Mobile grooming experience Additional Details, • Working interview required, • We actively promote our groomers on social media, • Sign-on bonus available after 90 days Application Questions, • Are you applying for:, • Mobile Grooming, • In-Shop Grooming, • Open to Either, • Do you have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record?
