Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, according to recipes and standards., • Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and enter them into the POS system., • Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally., • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by anticipating needs and addressing inquiries or concerns., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas., • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately., • Restock inventory and assist with opening and closing procedures., • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Kanü Bar|Grill, a vibrant Afro Caribbean Restaurant known for its great food and drinks, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our front-of-house team as a Bartender and Waiter/Waitress. As a dual-role team member, you will be crucial in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience, from crafting delicious beverages to providing attentive table service. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating strong knowledge of mixology and beverage presentation., • Accurately take food and drink orders, provide menu recommendations, and deliver items efficiently to tables., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining room, and service stations., • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly., • Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions., • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service., • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Qualifications: • No experience (Training Provided) (experience as a Bartender and/or Waiter/Waitress, ideally within a restaurant or bar setting is an added advantage), • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously., • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality., • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
