Job Description JOB PURPOSE: To perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of County buildings, grounds, and parking garage. This responsibility will include all advanced HVAC systems and related equipment, plumbing systems, electrical and lighting systems, building structural systems and various complex equipment and furniture. Must be available weekends and holidays on an on-call basis., • Maintains county buildings by performing welding, masonry, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and other work as assigned., • Assures quality maintenance program by completing and/or updating all work orders for completed work, • Informs supervisors of problem areas in need of repairs or attention., • Performs all other aspects of preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and projects as directed by appropriate supervisors., • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by ensuring all work areas are returned to the highest level of cleanliness, free of all tools, parts and equipment before leaving the job site., • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies., • Assures safety and security by overseeing subcontractors while working with the county buildings., • Demonstrates an understanding of the county’s safety policies and practices by attending required safety programs; reporting all accidents and suspected safety hazards to the supervisor., • Fulfills job function by participating as an active member in training; participating on county task forces and performing other responsibilities as assigned. Job Description Diodes Incorporated is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician interested in nightshift to join our South Portland Maine, Facility. This position requires a flexible schedule, and the willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 nights on / 3 nights off. Our Equipment Maintenance Technicians are responsible for multiple activities in support of manufacturing, focusing on the maintenance of Lam Plasma Etchers (9600, 9400 and 4520 models), Fusion Ashers, automated and manual wet decks (JST, TEL and SEZ models), SRD’s, and all support equipment. This also involves troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvements. These repairs and procedures are performed in an environment where toxic gas, acids, solvents, high voltage, and kinetic energy hazards may exist. Candidate must be comfortable working around chemicals in a fast-paced industrial setting.
