Major Responsibilities/Activities: • Repair or replace sinks, faucets, disposals, toilets., • Oversee jetting of major/minor drain and sewers of all plumbing fixtures., • Replace or repair leaks and damages to all plumbing fixtures, systems., • Oversee and maintain inspections and testing for all the equipment associated with plumbing equipment., • Assist with appliance installation., • Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members., • Licensed Plumber Certification required with four years of experience in a similar environment., • New installation preferred for commercial applications., • Service work and remodels is preferred for commercial applications., • Basic knowledge of computer application., • High School Diploma or GED., • Must possess and maintain a valid NM driver’s license., • Cultural sensitivity required., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English., • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program., • All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text., • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-key license. Essential Mental Functions: • Obtain and maintain most current information regarding applicable Tribal, State, Federal, and Gaming policies, procedures, rules and regulations., • Must be a detail oriented, organized individual with the ability to multi-task., • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service, • Proven ability in working with outside vendors and contractors., • Proven ability to handle conflict situations., • Must have excellent problem-solving abilities., • Must have strong analytical skills., • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment., • Must be able to deal with stressful situations in a professional manner. Essential Physical Functions: • While performing the duties of the position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, turn, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear., • Ability to use electronic equipment including computers, adding machines and calculators., • Must be able to work various hours, including weekends and holidays., • Must present self in a well-groomed, professional appearance., • The employee must be able to lift to 50 pounds., • Must be able to work at a fast pace., • Must be able to handle stress effectively., • Must be able to maneuver around the office and the facility as needed to collect and distribute all necessary materials and documents., • Must be able to stand and walk for a long duration of time., • Must be able to work in inclement weather., • Physical ability to safely perform the essential job functions of the position.
