The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is actively seeking a Pediatric Fellowship trained Radiologist for our Cohen Children's Medical Center. This is a full-time in-person opportunity. The successful candidate will have dedicated time towards scholarly activities and will be expected to teach medical students, residents and fellows Participation in several multidisciplinary conferences is also required. Clinical responsibilities include all aspects of Pediatric Radiology (plain film, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT and MRI). Service coverage includes Cohen Children's Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, as well as several community hospitals remotely. The Cohen Children's Medical Center (CCMC) of New York is a 202-bed tertiary pediatric hospital performing approximately 70,000 examinations a year. It is the largest provider of pediatric health services in New York State and serves 1.8 million children in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island's Nassau and Suffolk counties. There is a new inpatient hospital with a state-of-the-art Emergency Department. It is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. There is a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Bone Marrow Transplant unit. The Pediatric Radiology division is a growing group of 5 dedicated pediatric radiologists. There are two new dedicated Pediatric MR machines (1.5T and 3T), two CT scanners, two new Siemens flat panel fluoroscopy unit, and 3 ultrasound suites. There are Pediatric Ultrasound technologists 24-hours a day. A new separate Pediatric Neuroradiology division has also been established, which includes two dedicated Pediatric Neuroradiologists. Position Summary: Plaza del Sol Family Health Center is located in the heart of Corona, Queens. The Director of Nursing (DON) works hand in hand with our Medical Director and Operations Director of Plaza del Sol and under the clinical supervision of our Chief Nursing Officer CNO in order to engage in the planning, direction, and evaluation of nursing services within the health center. The DON upholds the department's philosophy and goals, standards for nursing practice and the management and development of nursing personnel inclusive of the direct supervision of Registered Nurses and LPNs. Provides clinical troubleshooting, guidance, training, and assesses competencies of Medical Assistants. On-site services include case management, entitlement assistance, medical and psychiatric care, substance use counseling, group activities, meals, recreation, and 24 hour/7 day per week front desk security. \n \n Purpose of Position: Under the direction of the Program Director, the Residential Aide Shift Supervisor (RAS) is responsible for assuring the general welfare, security and safety of the residents, staff, and facility. This position is responsible for the supervision of the Residential Aides team. The RAS is expected to ensure quality service deliverables by supervising the daily safe haven-related residential services and inspections, to ensure that all residents’ goals, are met 24/7 in a safe environment. \n \n Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 4:00 pm to 12:00 am \n \n Salary Range: $62,400 - $67,400 \n \n Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position.
