Paid orientation Mileage reimbursement Paid training Professional development assistance Paid holidays Flexible schedule Full job description You deserve to work somewhere that treats you the way you treat your clients. At Lumara Home Care, we built this agency around one belief: exceptional care only happens when caregivers feel genuinely respected, well-supported, and proud of where they work. If you've worked in home care before, you already know what's missing out there. We're building something different. We're a boutique, private-pay agency serving Bergen County families who want attentive, relationship-driven care for their loved ones. Small enough to know your name. Serious enough to pay you what you're worth. What you'll do You'll be matched to clients whose needs align with your strengths and schedule. Every day looks a little different, but the constants are: Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Companionship — real conversation, shared activities, being present Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders Transportation to appointments and errands Communicating updates directly to family members and our care coordinator — because families deserve to know their person is in good hands What makes Lumara different We don't pile on 30 bullet points and call it culture. Here's what's actually true: You'll be heard. Our care coordinator is reachable — not just "on-call." You'll be matched thoughtfully. We don't drop you into a random case. We talk to you first. You'll be recognized. We notice reliability, warmth, and going the extra mile — and we say so. You'll have stable hours. We aim to build consistent client relationships, not scramble-and-fill scheduling. Compensation & benefits $20–$22/hr based on experience and case type Bi-Weekly direct deposit Paid orientation and ongoing training Holiday premium pay Paid for time driving between clients Mileage reimbursement for client transportation Early wage access (through Tapcheck) What we're looking for Active NJ CHHA or HHA certification Reliable transportation Ability to communicate clearly with clients, families, and our team Someone who genuinely cares — and shows it in how they work Lumara Home Care is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate the diversity of our caregiving team and the communities we serve. Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Mileage reimbursement Paid orientation Paid training Professional development assistance

We are looking for a sociable, outgoing person to manage our stand at farmers markets. We have several weekday options. Weekday market times are 3-7pm or 3-8:30 pm. Weekend markets are 8am-1pm or 9am-2pm. We will pay you a base pay of $100 + a bonus of 10% of sales. (Sales average, very roughly, $500 per market). For the market, you need to show up no later than one hour before the market starts, in order to catch a good parking spot, and then set up the stand. It takes about half an hour to fold down and pack away everything after a market ends. Figure also your drive time to and from our facility in Woodland Park in order to pick up everything before the market, and then drop off everything after the market. You need to drive your own vehicle. Your vehicle has to accommodate: A canopy that is 65" long Two coolers that are 38" x 18" Two cooler that are 24" x 16" Two 4’x2’ foldable tables One street sign that is 24" x 41" One milk crate A few minor items. A typical SUV is normally large enough, after folding down all the passengers’ seats and filling the front passenger seat too. Personal requirements: 1) Ability to lift 50LB. 2) Be outgoing, extroverted, smiling, constantly reaching out and offering samples. 3) Be able to learn about our products, and explain their health benefits to customers, at least on a basic level. 4) Be responsible. Show up early. 5) Be neat and organized. 6) Be kind and pleasant, with a happy, friendly attitude. The more customers you get to buy our products, the more money you will make. We will show you everything—from how to set up the canopy to how to discuss the important product benefits with customers. We will be available by phone for every question or issue during the market, when you are on your own.
