Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Plainview NY 11803. This is 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Title: Phlebotomist Location: Plainview NY 11803 Pay Range: $21 per hour Duration: 3 months+ Schedule M-F 6am-12pm Saturday 6am-12pm (40 hours/week) Responsibilities: • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection on adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients using established procedures, • Prepare, label, and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately for laboratory testing, • Explain procedures clearly to patients and create a calm, professional, and trusting environment, • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accuracy of patient information and documentation, • Perform daily duties on time under the direction of the area supervisor, • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment at all times, • Complete required records, logs, and data entry with high accuracy, • Demonstrate strong customer service while promoting a positive company image, • Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, • Follow all policies, quality standards, and process excellence guidelines Qualifications: • A High School Diploma or GED is required., • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
