Job description: Looking for a DSP (Direct Support Professional) to work 18-20 hours per weekends. Hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-7pm or 8pm. Location: Tuxedo Park, NY 10987. DSP must be able to work with client and assist with toilet training, self care and daily living skills. Client is 200 lbs. Must have experience working with clients that are non-verbal and understand 1-2 step instructions. DSP must have 25+ years of driving experience and have own vehicle. _ We are seeking compassionate and driven professional eager to support our teen client with emotional, medical, and intellectual disabilities diagnoses. Join our passionate team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families! Responsibilities Respite and Comhab Services: Provide relief support for caregivers. Help client achieve success at home and in various environments. Engage client in enjoyable and meaningful activities that enhance their growth and development. Supporting individuals in achieving their chosen personalized outcomes and stated goals. Providing assistance, services and supports to promote independence in daily living activities within the residence. Application and Resume Assistance To engage in activities that will contribute to the individual’s success in securing and keeping an integrated job.
