Job Description CNC Programmer/Machinist. About Us We’re a precision manufacturing company specializing in multi-axis CNC machining. This is a full-time, long-term position for a talented, driven, and responsible team player who can take the lead when needed. What You’ll Do * Program complex parts for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills to tight tolerances. * Create, edit, and optimize G-code; troubleshoot programs at the machine as needed. * Use CAM systems to generate efficient toolpaths and setups. * Interpret and apply GD&T to ensure dimensional and geometric requirements are met. * Work from CAD models and drawings: extract dimensions, validate requirements, and produce CAD models/drawings as directed. * Support cross-functional teams using MRP software, ensuring accurate routings, BOMs, and part data. * Partner with machinists on setups and troubleshooting, building solutions together to improve cycle time, quality, and repeatability. What You Bring * 5–7 years of hands-on CNC programming experience (mills). * Proven ability to hold tight tolerances on complex parts. * Strong command of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and print reading. * Proficiency with CAM (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, or similar). * Comfortable in a CAD environment; able to create/modify models and drawings. * Experience setting up and troubleshooting mills on the shop floor. * 5-axis programming experience a plus. * MRP/ERP proficiency and strong team-oriented communication skills.
