Principal Responsibilities Perform the required tasks in order to properly start and run the Cogen engines, generate and distribute electricity, generate and distribute thermal energy to the Cogen thermal loop. Assist outside technicians in the service of Cogen related equipment. Monitor equipment operation, take readings, keep records and prepare reports associated with the Cogen operation. Monitor alarm panel, take necessary action relative to the alarms, keep records and prepare reports. Maintain the appearance of the work environment. Painting and cleaning will be required as necessary. Must work from a 40-foot ladder. Performs related work as required. Qualification Requirements High School Diploma (5) years’ experience in a related technical field or acceptable technical training. Must exhibit an understanding of electricity, process piping and combustion engines and the ability to work with tools.
