Responsibilities of the School Nurse (RN) • Provide nursing care for students., • Perform observations and assessments of patient condition and needs., • Document all patient care actions., • Monitor and interpret vital signs., • Assist with the development of patient care plans., • Collaborate in the identification of patient needs and/or problems., • Educate caregivers with information to assist with the care of the patient.Requirements of the School Nurse (RN), • Valid NY State RN License, • 1+ year of nursing experience, • Knowledge of Diabetes and Asthma management, • Pediatric experience, • CPR Certification, • TB test within one year #IND2
