The role involves configuring systems, monitoring performance, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with network and infrastructure teams to maintain mission-critical communications capabilities. Responsibilities: • Operate, monitor, and maintain the Clients AV/VTC systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime., • Provide setup, testing, and support for scheduled and ad-hoc VTC sessions in both classified and unclassified environments., • Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot CODECs, controllers, cameras, microphones, displays, and supporting AV components., • Support wired and wireless AV/VTC network connections and interfaces., • Perform preventive maintenance and software updates to ensure continued system stability and compliance., • Respond to service requests and resolve technical issues related to AV/VTC systems in a timely manner., • Collaborate with network and IT support teams to diagnose and resolve connectivity or performance problems., • Support Cable TV, CCTV, and related systems within the Government computing environment., • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and support activities., • Provide user assistance and training on the proper use of VTC systems.Minimum Requirements:, • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience in the Video Teleconferencing (VTC) domain, including deployment, troubleshooting, and operational support in a dynamic environment., • Knowledge:, • Strong understanding of AV/VTC system components, including CODECs, controllers, audio and video interfaces, and network connectivity., • Familiarity with secure communications environments and DoD network infrastructure., • Experience supporting enterprise-level conferencing solutions (e.g., Cisco, Poly, Crestron, or equivalent)., • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.Security and Certification Requirements:, • Sensitivity Level: IT-II Critical Sensitive, • Security Clearance: Secret (must possess or be eligible to obtain), • DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE), • Client Approved Continuing Education (CE) Certifications:, • Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) IT Support (100-140), • Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking (100-150), • Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity (100-160)GCA is a Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned company supporting several government contracts.
