About Us:
Palisadium Swim and Gym offers a state-of-the-art aquatic facility, providing members with a safe and enjoyable swimming environment. We are seeking a responsible and experienced Lifeguard to join our team, with a preference for candidates holding Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or USA Swimming certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of all swimmers by monitoring pool activity.
Enforce pool rules and regulations consistently and professionally.
Provide immediate response and care in emergency situations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area.
Assist in setting up equipment and ensuring proper functioning of pool facilities.
Conduct safety checks of equipment and pool chemicals as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lifeguard certification (American Red Cross or equivalent) – Required.
Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or USA Swimming certification – Strongly preferred.
CPR/AED and First Aid certification – Required.
Strong swimming skills and knowledge of pool safety procedures.
Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
