Green Top Farms was founded by a farmer-turned-public-school-teacher who was troubled by the lack of fresh, nutritious foods for many New York families. For the last ten years we have built a high volume food service, catering and delivery business. What You’ll Do: - Reading order sheets, pick and packing daily deliveries based on the order sheet - Inspect orders to ensure accuracy and quality - Rotating between the hot and cold kitchen, prescribing heating time, temperature, and location for retherm of all deliveries by using your knowledge of food safety and temperature degradation that occurs during delivery - Work as a team with the pick & pack and dispatch team to ensure all orders are accurate and organized for delivery - Organizing cooler and dry storage areas by the “First in First Out” principle - Comply with all company policies, rules & regulations regarding safety, personal hygiene (GMP’s), operational methods and food safety guidelines - Ensuring quality is maintained during pick and pack (hot food, cold food) process - Strong communication skills with team Who You Are: - Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID with proof of vaccination (Required) - Must have Food Handlers Certification (Preferred) - Ability to carry over 50 pounds and remain standing for long periods of time - A self-starter and problem-solver spirit with extreme attention to detail - Experience working on teams and enjoy being a team player - Interest in being part of a growing company trying to bring a fresh take on pre-packaged meals - Bilingual (Preferred) What We Offer: Green Top Farms provides benefits including medical insurance, sick leave, paid time off that increases with tenure, commuter benefits and potential for bonuses through our Green Shares employee bonus program. POSITION SUMMARY: This is a delivery position responsible for driving a 48ft Tractor Trailer, delivering and unloading various products for our customers. BENEFITS: - CDL A Holder: $30.00 hourly pay (1 year of experience driving tractor trailer's required) - Annual performance bonus up to $10,000 - $7,000 SIGN-ON BONUS - Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Life Insurance - Time off Package which includes; Vacation, Sick and Holidays - Helper provided on route SCHEDULES: - Dispatch times: 6pm-7:30pm - Shift end times: 4am-6am - Weekends required (every Saturday and Sunday) - Days off: Two consecutive days in the middle of the week - Shift: 10-12 hours per day, approximately - Stops per route: 20-30 depending on location and route RESPONSIBILITIES: - Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows. - Maintain Department of Transportation rules - Unloading of merchandise by the use of hand trucks REQUIREMENTS: - 21+ years of age - Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with no more than 3 violations on MVR - 1 year experience driving tractor trailer's required - Possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card. - Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check, Employment Verification). - Ability to lift 50lbs and push or pull 150lbs with a handtruck. - Ability to work in all weather conditions. - Ability to unload items from the truck safely by hand. - Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations - Have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
