Job Description Position Summary: Voltaris Power LLC is a Private Equity backed, industry-leading company providing custom engineered solutions and electrical products such as low- and medium-voltage switchgear, dry-type power transformers (including power distribution unit transformers, medium voltage transformers etc.), unit substations and automatic transfer switches, catering to a diverse North American market. The company has over $80+ million in annual revenues and is actively pursuing various acquisition opportunities as part of its value creation plan to strategically scale and diversify product portfolio, customer base and end markets. We are looking for an experienced Sales contributor to join the Pioneer Custom Electrical Products business unit and generate revenue for the switchgear business and all aspects of channel and pipeline management. This is a hands-on individual contributor role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can quickly adapt to the unique challenges of a global organization. Location: Remote w/50-75%+ as required Salary: $150,000 + (DOE) Key Responsibilities: • Sales & Business Development : Generate qualified new switchgear and prefabricated electrical building business opportunities, identify and pursue new project RFP’s, represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits to deepen relationships and increase brand visibility., • Sales Pipeline Management: Add new opportunities to quote log, follow up and update existing opportunities, report regularly to senior leadership on pipeline status, forecast accuracy, estimated ship dates. and customer feedback., • Client Relationship Management: Own the client relationship from initial contact through to post-sale support, functioning as both a trusted technical advisor and responsive sales professional., • Sales Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, market opportunities, develop and execute a regional sales strategy targeting datacenters, utilities, EPCs, commercial and industrial customers, and channel partners., • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with estimating, engineering, and operations teams to tailor proposals, support pricing strategies, to win business and ensure seamless order handoff. Qualifications and Skills: • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred, • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of successful sales experience in the electrical manufacturing space, specifically with MV switchgear, substations, or related equipment. Background working with datacenters, electrical distributors, EPC firms, electrical engineers, commercial & industrial end users, OEM’s, and system integrators Sales & Business Development : Proven ability to generate qualified new business opportunities and win business. * Business Acumen: ability to navigate long sales cycles, complex decision processes, deliver strong value proposition to win business. * Independent Work Ethic: Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Must have a heightened sense of urgency and be results oriented. * Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution industry including medium voltage switchgear, low voltage switchgear, and relevant applications such as datacenters, micro-grids, renewable energy, and industrial automation. * Problem-Solving: Ability to understand customer power protection and distribution requirements and develop appropriate value propositions. • Software Proficiency: CRM tools, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite., • Travel: Ability to travel 50-75%+ as required
