    Power-Flo Technologies is now hiring a box truck driver (16 - 18 foot trucks) to join our warehouse team. Previous box truck experience required. CDL not required. Full Time. Monday - Friday, approx. 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM. Route: We deliver in the 5 boroughs and on Long Island. Salary Range: $18 - $21/hour Benefits Package • Health insurance (medical, dental, vision), • PTO program and paid holidays, • 401K, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Day to Day of a Box Truck Driver : • Conduct thorough pre – trip and post trip safety inspection of the vehicle using app, • Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders, • Plan the most efficient daily delivery sequences using manifest, GPS to minimize transit time, • Navigate urban and suburban routes safely, consistently meeting strict delivery deadlines., • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle, • Secure heavy or fragile cargo using straps, load locks, and bracing to prevent shifting, damages during transit, • Plan delivery route to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day, • Verify manifest accuracy by counting quantity of cartons, skids, coil, etc and inspecting the condition of material prior to loading and upon delivery., • Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately, gathering the appropriate signatures and acknowledgements, • Obey all traffic laws and parking regulations, • Provide professional, prompt, and friendly customer service, acting as the face of the company at various drop-off points, • Perform basic warehouse work to include, removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, organizing etc. Box Truck Driver Qualifications : • Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license to operate company box trucks and vehicles (7-year clean driving record required), • Box truck (16–18 ft. or larger) and/or flatbed truck experience required; CDL not required, • Ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds, • Comfortable using a smartphone and computer, • Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies, • Ability to work well independently, maintain a can-do attitude, and be willing to learn, • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with functional English skills, • Excellent organizational and time management skills, • Knowledge of Nassau, Suffolk, and the five boroughs of NYC Physical Requirements • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds, • This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching, • You may be exposed to dust, loud noises, and hot and cold conditions We hire for a variety of warehouse positions: associates, packers, shippers, receivers, and drivers. Summary: Roadway Moving is seeking experienced and dependable CDL Class A OTR Freight Drivers to transport freight warehouse-to-warehouse between our nationwide hub locations.
