Job Description Job Title: Driver / Warehouse Associate Job Description This role combines professional driving and hands-on warehouse work, with approximately half of your time spent on the road and half in the warehouse. You will deliver a diverse range of products—including refrigerators, microwaves, cabinets, closet shelving, appliances, and other construction-related items—to single-family and multi-family new construction developments. The position requires comfort operating a 26-foot box truck, performing heavy lifting, and working closely with subcontractors and a small internal team. Strong communication skills and a personable, customer-focused approach are essential. Responsibilities • Operate a 26-foot box truck safely and efficiently to deliver products to single-family and multi-family new construction sites., • Load and unload refrigerators, microwaves, cabinets, closet shelving, appliances, and other materials from the truck and within the warehouse., • Work approximately 50% of the time in the warehouse and 50% on the road, adapting to changing daily needs., • Handle heavy lifting and general labor tasks associated with preparing orders and staging materials for delivery., • Interact professionally with subcontractors and site personnel, providing courteous and responsive customer service., • Use equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move, organize, and store inventory in the warehouse., • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including checking in deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments., • Support inventory control by organizing, counting, and tracking products to ensure accurate stock levels., • Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety guidelines while driving and working in the warehouse., • Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of daily tasks. Work Environment The work environment is a small, eight-person operation where you collaborate closely with teammates in both warehouse and field settings. You will split your time between driving a 26-foot box truck to active construction sites and working in a warehouse that handles appliances, cabinetry, shelving, and other building materials. The role is physically active, involving regular heavy lifting, loading, and unloading. Standard material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is used to move inventory and prepare shipments. The atmosphere is informal and hands-on, with an emphasis on safety, clear communication, and teamwork throughout the workday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
