Albastar is looking for a dispatcher. Key responsibilities • Preparation of detailed flight plans in compliance with EASA regulations, including fuel calculations and route selection based on weather conditions, NOTAMs, and airspace restrictions., • Ensuring safe, compliant, and punctual aircraft departures through the management of flight plans, fuel requirements, weather analysis, performance analysis, and coordination with ground staff where possible., • Monitoring flights from departure to arrival using Flight Watch software and communicating with aircraft when necessary., • Coordinating with handling agents, cabin crew, maintenance, and flight crew to ensure on-time departures., • Supporting, informing, and/or assisting the Pilot-in-Command on board to ensure the safe and efficient operation of each flight., • Assisting the OCC Duty Manager in managing operational disruptions, handling calls, communicating with handling agents, and managing ATC slot delays., • Assisting the OCC Duty Manager in preparing all flights for the following day., • Supporting other areas of OCC in the event of staff shortages., • During weekends, public holidays, and outside office hours, performing necessary tasks for other departments not present in the office., • Dispatchers with experience in flight operations, with or without a license., • A positive team player with the ability to interact with other departments., • Ability to think laterally and make decisions., • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
