Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide range of dishes across all meal periods, ensuring high-quality food and consistency in every plate served. You’ll also play a key role in menu development, kitchen organization, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner service.
Work with the team to develop menus that reflect our brand and seasonal ingredients.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen space in line with food safety standards.
Ensure stock levels are maintained and assist with ordering.
Ensure food is consistently high-quality, well-presented, and delivered on time.
Monitor portion control, waste, and kitchen costs to support profitability.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and follow best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef in a café, bistro, or similar kitchen environment.
Confidence in preparing meals across all meal periods.
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity and passion for food presentation and recipe development.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Relevant culinary qualification preferred but not essential.
