About the job The Hotel Director oversees the functions of Hotel Operations onboard the vessel and is accountable for driving and maximizing positive results on all company based targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). The Hotel Operations Department consists of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Finance, Entertainment, IT & Data Systems, Cruise Sales, and all onboard revenue-generating areas. The Hotel Director is responsible for the day to day operation and performance of all of the departments within Hotel Operations. Qualifications: · Minimum of five years’ experience as a senior leader in a luxury (4/5*) hotel or cruise industry environment. · Exceptional communication, problem solving decision making and interpersonal skills. · Ability to lead with a “global” perspective in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment. · Knowledge of the principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination and execution. Somos un grupo de restauración joven y en crecimiento con restaurantes en Barcelona, que buscan crear experiencias únicas combinando espacios con un diseño singular y acogedor; gastronomía de calidad; y excelencia en el servicio al cliente. Buscamos un Director/a para uno de nuestros restaurantes situado en Barcelona. Función: - Gestión integral del restaurante asegurándote que el servicio de comida, de bebida, la apariencia física del local y la atmósfera y ambiente están en perfecto funcionamiento. - Deberá conocer los protocolos de operaciones de cada departamento (sala y cocina), así como sus estandartes de calidad y su objetivo es velar por el cumplimiento de ellos. Operativa: - Deberá tener un control 360° de lo que sucede en el restaurante. El servicio en sala, la calidad, presentación y timing de las bebidas y de la comida son óptimos y siguen la línea marcada. - Se asegurará que las líneas de comunicación definidas entre los departamentos de Sala y Cocina periódicamente se realizan. - Promoverá la eficiencia y eficacia en los servicios. Equipo - Tendrá una buena apariencia, elegante y cuidada. Y un lenguaje y forma de actuar con los equipos acordes a buenos modales. - Mantendrá los estándares de la compañía en uniformidad y apariencia - Será parte activa en el entrenamiento y on boarding del staff de sala. - Planificará los horarios de personal. - Será parte de una continua mejora y formación de los equipos, ya sea con briefings, con las formaciones organizadas por el Grupo y formaciones realizadas por tu equipo. Requisitos: - Mínimo 5 años de experiencia como Director de restaurante, preferiblemente locales con volumen alto (+180 pax). - Flexibilidad horaria (turno partido, incluyendo noche y fin de semana) - Habilidades demostradas de liderazgo y capacidad para motivar equipos. - Orientación al cliente y excelentes habilidades de comunicación. - Conocimientos financieros para la gestión de presupuestos y control de costos.
