About the role: As MICE Sales Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the commercial performance of the Groups, MICE, Weddings and Events segment across all destinations. The role aims to maximize sales conversion by ensuring effective prioritization, follow-up and alignment among sales teams, hotels and key internal stakeholders, while guaranteeing that commercial processes are executed in line with established standards. What will your key responsibilities be? • Coordinate and monitor the commercial activity of the MICE segment across different markets and destinations, ensuring achievement of sales targets and operational standards., • Act as a key liaison between sales teams, hotels and commercial functions, ensuring alignment and prioritization of opportunities., • Supervise destination-based sales teams (quotation centers) for the Groups segment, including lead management, payment tracking, group status and correct use of tools and systems., • Coordinate with Revenue and Sales teams to manage rate approvals and availability for group quotations., • Monitor the progress, results and incidents related to systems, platforms and projects for the Groups segment, in collaboration with IT and Systems teams., • Support training and continuous monitoring of sales teams across all channels to ensure strong product knowledge and correct use of processes and systems., • Coordinate with hotel-based GEB teams to ensure correct reservation management, resolving incidents and promoting continuous improvement., • Follow up on customer complaints related to the Groups segment, ensuring proper resolution in collaboration with other departments., • Prepare sales, production and performance reports for the MICE segment to support decision-making., • Participate in action plan meetings, future campaigns and new projects., • Represent the brand at MICE trade fairs, events and industry forums to support business development., • Contribute to team leadership activities, including performance evaluation, workload distribution, scheduling, motivation and professional development, in line with internal policies and regulations. What are we looking for? • Degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Economics or similar fields; postgraduate or Master’s degree in Tourism Commercial Management is a plus., • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading Groups/MICE areas within international tourism companies, with at least 2–3 years managing teams., • Strong knowledge of MICE, commercial strategy, travel and accommodation sales, marketing, communication, hotels, GEB and distribution channels., • Fluent in English and Spanish; a third language is highly valued., • Proficiency in office tools and management systems (CRM, Channel Manager, databases, marketing tools)., • Strategic mindset with strong results orientation., • Proven leadership, teamwork and decision-making skills., • High customer orientation and excellent communication abilities.
