Role Overview

You will assist the Head Sommelier in managing and developing our wine program, curating wine lists that complement our Michelin-level culinary concepts, and providing expert wine recommendations to guests. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Sommelier with the management and development of the resort’s wine program
• Curate and maintain wine lists that align with the resort’s culinary offerings
• Deliver exceptional wine service to the highest luxury standards
• Provide expert wine recommendations to guests to enhance their dining experience
• Support inventory management and stock control to ensure optimal wine availability
• Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of all wines
• Organize wine tastings, training sessions, and supplier presentations
• Train and mentor service employees on wine knowledge and pairing principles

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Sommelier or Assistant Sommelier within a luxury hotel or fine-dining setting
• Strong knowledge of international wine regions and wine styles
• Recognized wine qualifications such as WSET, CMS, or equivalent certifications
• Excellent guest engagement and communication skills
• Fluency in English and a second language (Russian, German, or French) is required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
• A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service
