Relocation to the Netherlands 🔧 Maintenance Technician Are you a hands-on technician who thrives on solving complex breakdowns and improving technical installations? For a leading food production company in the South of the Netherlands, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician working in a 2-shift system. The role As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ensuring maximum uptime of the production process. You quickly analyze and resolve technical breakdowns and carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. You will work across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and actively contribute to technical improvements and optimizations. You will also be involved in modifications, overhauls and the installation of new equipment. Your responsibilities include: • Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns on production lines and auxiliary equipment, • Performing preventive and periodic maintenance, • Optimizing installations on both mechanical and electrical level, • Installing, testing and modifying technical equipment, • Carrying out modification and overhaul activities, • Reading and adjusting technical drawings and schematics Your profile • MBO level (technical vocational degree preferred), • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar technical role, • Experience in a production environment (food industry is a plus), • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system and on-call duty, • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset What’s in it for you? • Competitive salary (excluding shift allowance) between 3.500 - 5.000 gross a month, • 12.5% shift allowance (2-shift system), • 25 vacation days + 15 ATV days (40 days off per year), • 8% holiday allowance, • 3% end-of-year bonus, • Travel reimbursement and solid pension scheme, • Opportunity to work within a growing and stable organization with long-term perspective Interested in learning more about this opportunity?
