The Hapimag Paguera Resort is located on the beachfront. The Resort has 239 apartments, a restaurant, a beach restaurant, a cocktail bar, a supermarket, outdoor pools and an indoor pool. We are looking for a motivated, service-oriented professional to join our team as a Head Chef to cover a temporary sick leave. What you can expect • Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the total quality, service, financial management, operations management and employee aspects of our 3 outlets (including staff canteen) and overseeing 10 chefs., • You create, modify and develop recipes, standardizing production to ensure consistent quality., • You elaborate, organise, assign and actively participate in the preparation of all dishes and coordinate daily tasks with the kitchen team., • You will report directly to Resort Management and the Corporate Food & Beverage Manager., • Creation and control of employee duty rosters (in agreement with the resort management), • Training of new employees What you bring along • Proven record of achievements in a similar position within the hotel-industry., • Good knowledge of English and Spanish as well as in hygiene and HACCP standards., • Computer literacy and financial skills in terms of budgeting, forecasting and controlling., • Reliability and an independent and goal-oriented way of working What we offer • Local benefits, • An exciting challenge in a European environment, • A young, dynamic and international team, • Above-average pay with personal target agreements, • Free meals, • Hapimag Benefits
