Summary / Objective of the role The Sr. Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading the comprehensive maintenance management of the ECA terminal, currently focused on regasification processes and transitioning toward liquefaction of natural gas (LNG). The role aims to ensure equipment and facility reliability, guarantee industrial safety, and optimize the execution of preventive, corrective, and shutdown/turnaround maintenance plans. Key responsabilities • Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment., • Lead the execution of turnarounds and shutdowns at the terminal, ensuring compliance with international standards., • Coordinate maintenance activities during construction, commissioning, pre-commissioning, and production phases., • Implement risk management strategies and ensure asset integrity., • Supervise contractors and vendors, ensuring quality and safety in external services., • Coordinate interaction between mechanical, electrical, and operations areas to ensure operational continuity., • Represent the terminal during audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews related to maintenance. Required qualifications • Minimum experience: 15–20 years in industrial maintenance within the Oil & Gas and LNG industries., • Proven expertise in shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and production., • Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, rotating, and instrumentation equipment maintenance., • International experience in LNG terminals and petrochemical plants., • Ability to coordinate contractors and vendors in large-scale projects., • Advanced English proficiency (oral and written). Soft skills • Strong leadership to manage large multicultural teams (including contractors)., • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders., • Results-oriented with decision-making capacity in high-pressure environments., • Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement., • Ability to coordinate across diverse technical areas. Work conditions / schedule • Location: Energía Costa Azul (ECA) terminal, Baja California, Mexico., • Primarily on-site work, with constant interaction with international teams and contractors., • Availability for extended shifts and critical operations during shutdowns and turnarounds.
