As a Senior Manager in the Cyber Security Team, you will lead the delivery and maintenance of Threat Detection and Response (TDR) Managed services for shared pool projects or dedicated large engagements using advanced technical capabilities. You will demonstrate thought leadership for cybersecurity and a go‑to‑market approach for TDR managed service operations business, while providing governance support and accountability for operations, delivery and maintenance of tools and processes. You will actively establish, maintain and strengthen client relationships, identify potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements, and manage accounts and relationships on a day‑to‑day basis. You will also assist in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives, coaching, counselling and developing junior team members, while ensuring work meets EY’s quality standards through review of junior members’ outputs. • Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members, performing procedures focused on complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues., • Work with the team and the client to create plans and strategies that comply with professional standards and address engagement risks., • Brief the engagement team on the client's environment and industry trends, maintaining relationships with client management to manage expectations., • Leverage extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts., • Demonstrate project management skills, inspire teamwork, and use current technology/tools to enhance effectiveness of deliverables and services., • Assist Partners & Directors in driving business development on existing client engagements by gathering resources and supervising proposal preparation., • Create innovative insights, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team needs, and contribute to thought leadership documents., • Facilitate discussions and knowledge sharing with key client personnel., • Plan and schedule client engagements, determine and deploy the right teams, and periodically review engagement status and work products., • Maintain strong client focus by effectively serving client needs and staying abreast of current business and economic developments., • Review status updates and prepare management presentations., • Actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives., • Identify buyers, influencers and stakeholders, building strong relationships., • Display teamwork, integrity and leadership while setting goals and responsibilities., • Drive performance management for self and team, supporting the quality culture agenda at GDS., • Manage performance for direct reports per organization policies., • Provide training and mentoring of project resources., • Participate in organization‑wide people initiatives., • Technical leadership in SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, EDR and related Threat Framework technologies., • Lead large‑scale projects and programs to deliver strategic programmes, driving operational efficiencies, operational excellence and transformation projects such as performance improvement, cost‑optimization and sales acceleration., • In‑depth experience of the managed service model using ITIL, and ability to strategise and propose transition approaches for large outsourcing TDR deals., • Perform due‑diligence for AS‑IS assessments and define milestone‑based improvement roadmaps with transformation teams., • Prepare solutions, implementation approaches, target operating models and technical architectures in response to RFPs., • Provide effort estimations, work‑break‑down structures and implementation plans for RFPs/proposals., • Draft / review Statements of Work (SoW) covering scoping, assumptions, milestones, pricing, team compositions, governance, RACI, etc., • Prepare technical and commercial bid presentations., • Defend proposals during client presentations, articulating differentiators., • Define reusable artefacts and standardise costing models for multiyear large managed‑service deals., • Lead proof‑of‑concepts and demonstrate managed services and TDR capabilities to increase winning probability., • Deliver TDR support projects, including requirements analysis, architecture definition, technical design, development, and solution delivery in a shared service model., • Experience with TDR tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, Deep/Dark Web monitoring tools, Demisto, Phantom and other SOAR tools., • B. Tech./B.E./BCA/MCA/MSc/BSc/MBA/PGDM/Ph.D. with sound technical skills., • Strong command of verbal and written English., • Approximately 12+ years of experience in management consulting or a similar advisory role in industry or the public sector., • Approximately 8–10 years of project management experience delivering large‑scale projects/programs, including planning, monitoring, resource management and financial oversight., • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes., • Good understanding of project governance and change management principles., • Professional qualifications such as PRINCE2® or PMP are desirable., • Interest in process improvement, agile methodologies and business case development., • Significant relevant experience in internal or external security engineering or a similar role., • Experience delivering cyber solutions, providing comprehensive guidance/support/advice, and managing client requirements., • Strong stakeholder management experience in a cyber security environment., • Any two of the following certifications: CISSP, GCIH, GMON, GCIA, CISM.
