Store & Warehouse All-Rounder - Must be fluent in English. Location: El Faro, Fuengirola/Mijas Costa Schedule: Includes Saturdays. Ideally Tuesday–Saturday, but we're also open to a schedule of 3 out of 4 Saturdays per month with a weekday off during those weeks Salary: €2,000 gross/month About the role: This is a varied, 50/50 role split between the shop floor and the warehouse. One day you might be helping a customer choose a Lounge set, the next you're picking stock in the warehouse or helping our delivery team prepare and deliver smaller items. Responsibilities • Assist customers in the store as a sales associate, • Locate and pick products in the shop and warehouse, • Prepare orders and deliveries, • Help the delivery team with drop-offs of smaller items, • Support wherever needed across store and warehouse What we're looking for • Fluent in both English and Spanish, • Valid driver's license (required), • Positive, flexible, and comfortable switching between different tasks, • Good physical condition, comfortable with lifting and being active, • Available to work most Saturdays What we offer • A dynamic role with variety day to day, • A friendly, small-team environment in a growing company, • A flexible schedule arrangement around Saturday work About us: Mebel Home is a Danish furniture store on the Costa del Sol, located in El Faro, between Fuengirola and Mijas Costa. We opened almost 2 years ago and are growing fast. We're currently a tight-knit team of 6 full-time employees running a 1,500 m² store, and we're looking for two new people to join us. A Tour Guide is responsible for leading guests on exciting off-road adventures on dirt trails through the Mijas mountains, ensuring their safety while providing commentary about the local landscape, wildlife, and natural features, all while creating a thrilling and memorable experience for each participant. A Tour Guide also ensures that vehicles are washed after each tour and that the shop, bathroom and staging areas are always kept clean and tidy. Key Responsibilities: · Conduct pre-tour safety briefings and enforce safety guidelines throughout the tour · Monitor driving behaviour and intervene if necessary to maintain safety standards. · Perform pre-trip inspections of dune buggies to ensure mechanical functionality · Respond appropriately to any emergencies that may arise during a tour Tour Navigation and Commentary · Clean throughout the day and keep shop, waiting area, staging areas and garage bays clean and tidy – · Perform other tasks as needed and as directed by management Required Skills and Qualifications: · Excellent off-road driving abilities, comfortable manoeuvring in challenging conditions · Strong ability to communicate clearly and engagingly with guests, providing informative commentary · Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and prioritizing customer satisfaction · Commitment to safety protocols and ability to make quick decisions in potentially dangerous situations Desired Qualifications: · Previous experience as a tour guide or in a similar outdoor adventure role · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record · First Aid or CPR certification · Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance
