Experteer Overview In this role you design and validate embedded software for ECM and hybrid vehicle control, translating requirements into robust software specifications. You work within a cross-functional team to develop, validate, and document software that aligns with internal standards and project timelines. You contribute to MIL validation, calibration support, and technical reporting, helping advance Horse Technologies' mission in powertrain innovation. Compensaciones / Beneficios • Design embedded software algorithms and control strategies for ECM and hybrid vehicle control systems • Translate system requirements into software specifications aligned with internal standards • Develop and maintain software specifications according to project timelines and quality requirements • Create validation and test strategies, including functional and dysfunctional plans • Perform Model-in-the-Loop validation, including test case development and reporting • Support calibration teams with methods, datasets, and software-related documentation • Prepare technical reports and communicate development progress to stakeholders • Contribute to software development, validation, troubleshooting, capitalization and vehicle/bench validation activities Responsabilidades • Proven embedded software development and validation experience • Experience with Model-Based Design (MATLAB/Simulink) • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent • Strong software design, validation methods for embedded systems, and technical documentation • Solid understanding of ICE, hybrid powertrains and their control systems (combustion, air management, after-treatment, torque management) • Problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration mindset • Proactive, rigorous, creative with ability to work in multicultural teams • Knowledge of automotive sector and Horse Powertrain ambitions • Excellent command of English and Spanish; French valued Requisitos principales • equal opportunities • hybrid work model • international collaboration • career development opportunities • caring and collaborative culture • innovative environment
