Actualmente buscamos incorporar una posición de AYUDANTE DE CAMARERO - RUNNER con contrato fijo discontinuo con posibilidad de pasar a indefinido. Se busca persona con actitud positiva, ordenada y con disposición para formar parte de un equipo unido. Misión del puesto: Garantizar una excelente primera impresión del restaurante, brindando una acogida cálida y profesional a los clientes desde su llegada, gestionando las reservas y asignación de mesas de manera eficiente, y colaborando con el equipo de sala para asegurar una experiencia gastronómica de alto nivel. Funciones principales: - Recibir a los clientes con amabilidad y cortesía, dándoles la bienvenida al restaurante. - Gestionar las reservas (telefónicas, online y presenciales) y mantener actualizado el libro o sistema de reservas. - Asignar mesas estratégicamente, considerando preferencias del cliente y rotación eficiente del salón. - Coordinar con el equipo de camareros para optimizar el flujo de clientes y minimizar tiempos de espera. - Acompañar a los clientes a sus mesas y ofrecer información inicial sobre el restaurante si es necesario. - Gestionar listas de espera en momentos de alta afluencia con actitud calmada y resolutiva. - Colaborar en la limpieza y presentación del área de recepción. - Detectar oportunidades de mejora en el servicio al cliente e informar al responsable de sala. - Mantener una presencia elegante y profesional acorde con la imagen del restaurante. Requisitos: - Educación secundaria obligatoria. - Se valorará formación en atención al cliente, turismo o restauración. Experiencia: Mínimo 1 año en un puesto similar, preferiblemente en restaurantes de gama media-alta o alta. Conocimientos: - Manejo de sistemas de reservas - Inglés nivel intermedio-alto (otros idiomas son un plus). - Protocolo de atención al cliente Habilidades: - Excelente comunicación verbal y lenguaje corporal positivo. - Empatía, actitud proactiva y resolución de conflictos. - Imagen cuidada y actitud profesional. - Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y en equipo. Your day-to-day: Support the Restaurant Manager in any required task. Manage reservations control including individual and group requests. Be the link between R&B operations and S&M team. Implement greeting standards throughout R&B departments. Train staff on reservation handling. Liaise with Chef to keep all R&B menus clean and up to date. Assist R&B teams in their specific duties. Ensure service and other standards according to SOPs are adhered to. Ensure cash handling procedures are followed and all paper stock items are managed. Ensure correct closing day procedures are followed. Prepare welcome package for all new R&B team members. Keep all training manuals up to date. What we need from you 1+ years’ experience working within hotel/restaurant. Must be fluent in local language and English, additional languages will be highly valuable. IMMEDIATE START. Party Host/ess on a Super Yacht (Based in Mallorca Spain and working on a superyacht cruising in Mallorca and Ibiza). I have copied below some of my job duties and I need an assistant to help me with some of them. The company I work for manages 2 superyachts in Palma De Mallorca, Spain. Cruising Mallorca and Ibiza. I need a lively, bubbly, party Host/ess to help me. You need to be a happy, positive, fun going individual that is free to travel, loves traveling and believes in a work hard, play hard ethos. We do a lot of work for charities as well so you have to be someone who likes giving back. The remuneration package is very good when you consider the basic salary with fully expensed accommodation in Mallorca included and part of the tips which are usually very good, especially with the American charter guests (see Below deck), who represented 60% of our charter guests for the 2024 season. The expected remuneration is 3,000 Euros per month including tips which form a large part of the salary. It is very much a work hard, play hard environment, and with 160 days of charter is a way of life more than a conventional role. Experience is not necessary but you need to be willing to be keen to learn and work hard.
