🏗️ Senior Platform Engineer Join Dempo Transform infrastructure with us! We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help design and scale the internal infrastructure platform that powers our engineering teams. In this role, you will operate at the architecture level, defining the foundations that allow multiple teams to build, deploy, and scale services efficiently and reliably. You will focus on platform architecture, Kubernetes environments, infrastructure standardization, and developer experience. 📢 This is a high-impact role responsible for enabling engineering teams to move faster while maintaining scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities • Platform Architecture & Scalability, • Design and evolve the internal developer platform used by multiple engineering teams, • Architect and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters and environments, • Define platform architecture patterns for microservices and cloud-native workloads, • Infrastructure Standardization, • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and reusable infrastructure components, • Standardize infrastructure provisioning across teams, • Establish best practices for infrastructure lifecycle management, • CI/CD & Developer Experience, • Improve and scale CI/CD frameworks and pipelines, • Reduce friction in the development lifecycle, • Drive improvements in developer experience (DX) and platform usability, • Cost & Efficiency, • Define and implement cloud cost optimization strategies, • Improve resource utilization and infrastructure efficiency, • Monitor infrastructure performance and scalability, • Leadership & Collaboration, • Mentor and support cloud and infrastructure engineers, • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand platform needs, • Promote platform best practices across the organization 🎓 Requirements • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE, • Strong experience designing cloud-native architectures, • Deep expertise with Kubernetes and container orchestration, • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar), • Strong experience with CI/CD systems and automation, • Experience operating infrastructure at multi-team scale, • Strong system design and architecture skills, • Excellent communication and mentoring abilities ⭐ Nice to Have (experience with) • Experience building internal developer platforms, • Knowledge of GitOps workflows, • Experience with multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, • Background in platform reliability or SRE practices, • Experience with cost optimization in large cloud environments 😌 What We Offer at Dempo • 📜 Permanent contract, • ⌚ Flexible working hours (core hours 09:30 – 13:30), • 🌍 Remote-first culture, with the option to work from our Granada office (Forum area), • ☀️ 30 working days of vacation, • 🏥 Private health insurance, • 💻 Work equipment provided (You choose between Macbook or Lenovo) · Learning time within working hours · Certifications and specialised training funds • 🧑🤝🧑 Referral programme, • 🚀 Opportunity-based bonuses, • 🤝 Stable, long-term projects, • 📈 Clear professional growth opportunities 🧭 Selection Process • With pleasure, we receive your CV and we give you a call, • Now it’s when we put faces to names, we’d love to get to chat with you!, • Let’s deepen a bit more with a technical interview, a chance to meet your People Partner, • We get back to you with offer and feed 💰 Salary Range • €20,000 – €30,000 → Junior, • €30,000 – €40,000 → Standard, • €40,000 – €50,000 → Senior, • €50,000+ → Principal Dempo is where technology, teamwork, and your professional growth come together. 🚀
