We are seeking a versatile and highly motivated engineer to join the Galileo Engineering team, contributing to a wide range of Galileo Ground Segment Engineering activities. Galileo, Europe’s Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), is the flagship #EUSpace programme, owned and funded by the European Union. It delivers precise positioning and timing services worldwide. CETRA BASE is currently recruiting a Galileo Systems Engineer to strengthen our Galileo Engineering team. This position is located in Toulouse, France. Responsibilities • Integrate Ground Segment components in alignment with customer requirements, • Perform Ground Segment verification and validation activities, • Install and configure software in both Windows and Linux environments, • Conduct functional software analyses, • Execute test procedures and document results, • Analyse software anomalies and carry out troubleshooting, • Provide technical support across all related activities, • Support on-site coordination efforts to identify, track, and mitigate ongoing issues Qualifications • University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, • Solid experience with Linux systems, • Proven experience in anomaly investigation and troubleshooting, • Knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus, • Strong team-working skills, • Good command of English, • Eligibility for security clearance Security In line with security requirements of the project the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state. This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
